The first prototype of this reading armchair had large “ears” on the top of its back, like most traditional bergéres. During the prototyping process, the designers decided to cut these ears to give the set a lighter and more contemporary feature. Simultaneously with this gesture, the name of the Armchair also appears: Vincent – In memory of the similar act carried out by the famous Dutch painter Vincent Van Gogh who in 1888, in a fit of rage, cut off part of one of his ears. This is how the Vicent armchair appears, with reduced proportions and extreme comfort, it has a geometry that focuses on the essentials and allows the application of one or more different fabrics, opening up the possibility of countless combinations of colors and textures. It also comes with a small pouf/ottoman that can be used together or independently of the Armchair.
