This sculptural-looking vertical shelf derives directly from the shapes of Lilliput and Gulliver lamps, which have these names due to the different proportions in which they are offered. (In the classic novel of British literature – Gulliver’s Adventures – the character experiences different sensations of scale on his travels). In the case of this bookshelf, the name given – Swift – follows the same line of thought and is a tribute to the author, the Irish writer Jonathan Swift. Made to accompany or not accompany the lamps, the Swift bookshelf makes a strong presence in the environments and can be decorated with plants, books, objects and lamps.
