Table Lamps
2010
Lamp in table and floor versions. In this proposal we use the computerized cutting technique to express the graphics of traditional muxarabis that have a strong presence in Brazilian colonial architecture.
The muxarabis are a heritage of Islamic architecture and allow you to simultaneously enjoy ventilation, natural light and privacy. The light and shadow effect of muxarabis in environments is incredible – there is nothing more pertinent than applying this effect to a lamp. With this project we hope to have contributed a little to the appreciation of a traditional cultural asset in Brazil.
