The design strategy applied to this table has increasingly established itself as one of the working aspects of Lattoog designers – the idea of adding more than one function to the same piece of furniture.
In this project, the extra function of a plate rest merges with the table function itself:
A sequence of round metal bars embedded in the top creates a fun and practical game, which also dictates the main visual characteristic of this table.
Initially designed for a residence on the small and bucolic Rua Goethe in Rio de Janeiro, location of Lattoog’s first studio, this table now has its serial version.
